Henry Colin Campbell

A physician and slayer of at least two women in New Jersey, during 1928 and 1929, Campbell met his victims through a matrimonial agency, luring them with promises of marriage. After a brief „courtship,“ each victim was shot through the head, her body dumped beside a rural highway, doused with gasoline, and set afire. Evidence recovered at the second crime scene led to Campbell’s arrest by New Jersey authorities, and he was executed in April 1930.
